Savvas Frangos, M.D., FEBNM
Dr. Frangos was born in 1961 in Limassol, Cyprus. He completed his medical studies at the Freie Universität Berlin in 1989, and in 1996 received his Nuclear Medicine Specialization in Thessaloniki. The same year he established the first full Nuclear Medicine department in the private sector in Cyprus. In 1999 he became one of the founders of the Cyprus Society of Nuclear Medicine and the first president of the Society. In 2001 he joined the Bank of Cyprus Oncology Center. Dr. Frangos has been his country’s delegate to the European Association of Nuclear Medicine and the World Federation of Nuclear Medicine and Biology. He is Senior Editor of the World Journal of Nuclear Medicine and member of the Editorial Board of the European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. Between 2010 and 2015 he was the Secretary of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine. He served from several positions in Boards including the Limassol and the Cyprus Medical Association and he was also the President of the Pension Fund of Cypriot Doctors. He was member of the governing body of World Association of Radiopharmaceutical and Molecular Therapy. He is currently the Secretary/Treasurer of the UEMS section Nuclear Medicine. The experience that he gained from all those positions, combined with his character and knowledge make him the proper candidate to be member of the leadership team of the World Federation of Nuclear Medicine and Biology.

Patricia Bernal Trujillo, M.D.
Dr. Bernal is was born in 1963 in Bogota, Colombia and completed her medical studies and training in Nuclear Medicine at the Colegio Mayor del Rosario in 1992. She has worked since then, as Nuclear Medicine Physician of Hospital Universitario de San Ignacio, Universidad Javeriana (Bogota) and Fundacion Santa Fe de Bogota where currently is the Section head. Dr. Bernal worked in Ministery of Health of Colombia as Advisor ionizing radiation for the health sector, in 2004 in IAEA as Consultor – P4 Human Health Section, is former president of ALASBIMN , former president of the Colombian Nuclear Medicine Association, She has been member of the governing body of the Nuclear Medicine Association during the past 12 years, member of the Governing body of World Association of Radiopharmaceutical and Molecular Therapy during the past 7 years, member of the Editor board of the World Journal of Nuclear Medicine since the origin.
